Non OEM 182 expansion tank

Hi

I'm just putting my Clio 182 back together and the old expansion tank is yellow and manky so I'd like to change it. The new OEM expansion tank is £50+. Has anyone run one from Euros (circa £15) on and has it been ok or do they fail/blow up after a year or so?!

I've bought about 3 ECP ones over the last few years (Topran branded) and they all have a terrible thread on the moulding they use for the cap. You can't properly tighten down the cap as it pops loose again when tightened.

I have a euro car parts one. Been on since august '17 and have been absolutely fine. Still looks clean and white even now. Think I paid £15? Just make sure you keep the original lid and use that as the ecp one isn't as good.
