  Ph1 172 + Combo van
mines a 1.4 8v and i have got 290miles to my full tank £46.00 worth. shocking i think
what does everyone else get?

  polo, here for lols
i have a 1.2 and depending on how i drive i get 290 - 310 miles  . more like an average of 300 atm, shocking i think considering what some larger engined cars will do. i payed £47.78 for my last full tank and that was from as empty as i dared get it

In my 1.2 16v I used to get about 380miles before the light would come on again. But I drove it like an old woman because I was skint!

some of them are really bad, i'd get 320miles with the red light just coming on in the 182!

in my 1.6 vtr xsara i used to get around the same to a full tank!

smaller engine sometimes doesn't equat to better mpg, think its more to do with the way you drive!

  320d
From full to redlight, so around 40 liters last time i filled up i got 350 miles that was @ 40mpg which is around average. Was only getting low 30's when i got it but i used to drive quicker back then. 40's average me now, mixture of town and DC driving.

I put between £50 and £53 and usually get 350-400 miles from it. Can drop down quite a bit though as most of my driving is urban.

On my current tank i got 200 out of the first half which was combined, but only about 60 for the next quarter which has been urban.

Not doing too well.

Unreal how the smaller engines get the same mileage, I do mostly urban driving and I dont hang about in my cup, still see 33mpg and easily 300 miles to a tank!!

Well for £53 at about 117.9-118.9 makes it about 45 litre, sure somebody will give a more exact answer.

well i just found the reciept from when i filled up the gauge was right down as low as i could dare and it took 38.08 litres. have i got a different size tank or is my gauge broken and i have a load of fuel more than i realised:S

  ?
I get minimum >340 miles per tank comfortably, that includes some spirited driving. IF im absolutely thrashing it (>4500 revs) the lowest ive had is 220ish miles to a tank.

i done alton towers in a tank and a half - 530 mile round trip :D

Not bad that.. I travelled down to Worcester, across to Banbury and then Silverstone, back to Worcseter, up to Alton Towers and home to Manchester. I had to put £78 in overall, about 550 miles (although I did end up in Chorley so it may have been more than that lol)

800!
usually average 36ish mpg on my 1.4....to a tank the trip says id usually get 450 but i havent measured it.

My trip computer says 423 miles from a 1.2. I've never run it to the bottom of the tank though, 2 bars from the bottom is the lowest I've been before filling up again! Costs me £30 for a tank of petrol, albeit (as above), not a full one.

My trip computer says 41.5mpg, which has come up from around 38mpg from when I had 17's on.
