just a standard aftermarket 1.6 16v clutch out if a megane its real stiff

i dont do dressed up bays i do funtional bays. and them coloured pipes/wiring covers are just fecking horrible:dead:

Sounds good any pics engine bay with induction kit on and what not? Have you manage to place the induction in a decent place without it getting too much heatsoak? I really struggled with mine

no mate i havnt got any pics at the min , but batterys goin into the boot then getting a stainless hardpipe goin from the turbo to were the batt should be , then hopefully gettin a CAF then just need to sort out the pipework and get my FMIC fitted .

trax was funny. in the que to get in i pulled next to a guy in a brand new nissan gt-r, he shouts out the window what have you got in that it sounds the nuts man

personally i would just go for a new air filter (k&n or similiar), new exhaust and keep it serviced.

make it sound and look nice to compensate for it being slower than a tortoise on crutches!

Fair play to you with your car mate. I completely see the point, the K4M is a very capable unit if you know what your doing, which you obviously do.

When its cammed and mapped it will go like a 172, if not better and sound epic too. I wish I had the facilities and know how to pull of a project like yours.

@ clio dci 80 - Theres someone on ere whos whacked a turbo on their 1.6, its in the project bit have a look. Think its in Brazil or somewhere like that.

My opinion is that unless you spend lots of money on your motor you aint gonna get massive results from 1.2 1.4 1.6 etc etc and if you do have the money to spend tuning why not buy something more...shall we say 'sporty', 'fast', 'prestige'.

However if you carry out the work yourself then i guess its the finished product that you've worked on that means more to you....

Cheapest, only (slightly) effective mods would be an exhaust, a decat and a filter/IK with a cold air feed.
