That depends on funds. I'd love to throw all the money in the world at it! I don't know where to put my fairly limited budget tbh... Kinda want a special engine because I think an MX5 deserves something a bit heroic under the bonnet. Don't want to go mad with power though as it just doesn't need it!

I agree.
The chassis is brilliant but I get the feeling its only 110% as good as the inherently progressive engine (109% of the 1.6)
More power/delivery would make it (more) twitchy.

On paper, I really shouldn't like this.
Paper be damned, I love it!
I.E. more exciting. That's why I'm a bit dubious about fitting big fat tyres... There's no way it'll move around as much, but they just look so awesome!

If they didn't have a polished lip they'd look cool! I can't stand polished lips, Just cheapens the whole car

What splitter is that? Looks awesome. Also have you sprayed it satin black or something? I was considering spraying all of my bump strips on the car, along with the splitter satin black as it'd match the theme of my car - cant decide though if it'll look good or not -.-
