None of the detailing retailers attending FCS?

Would've thought it would be a great chance to shift some serious product.

If you think how much stuff AG and Megs sell at these events, a more specialist retailer with higher end product would make a killing I'd have thought, especially in accessories such as towels, applicators, brushes, mitts, etc...

Yeah some of them should go down there.
I will be buying a serious collection if there are any that go there.

probably cheaper online, I was chatting to Meguiars at a motorcycle show for tips then came home and bought it elsewhere lol

I only saw a small Megs outlet just near the privately owned club cars, thought there would be more.

I was expecting more along the likes of Clean Your Car, I4Detailing, etc... but yeah, I suppose they operate online to avoid overheads.

Still, would be cool to see one of them there with a demo car, doin a bit of PC'ing and demonstrating beading, etc...

I'm in need of supplies and would probably wait to pick them up at the show if I knew they'd be there.

to attend the national motorcycle show at the NEC each year costs our company £20k, around £10k for the pitch, stand, flooring, telephone line, electricity etc and the rest is preperation overheads hotel etc

shows are a complete con!

Alex at SP used to do lots of the Japshows, I would have thought Matt from I4Detailing may fill the up his Trophy up ;)

Sorry Rich, is that meant to mean something along the lines of he might do a bit of Del-boy trading out the back of his boot!?!

We do a few shows but I seem to have been struggling for time this year.

The problem with taking stuff in a car is that your car won't be insured if Next year I do plan to attend all these sorts of shows.

Would have thought people like I4detailing would be there? Though show stands are expensive....

Show stands @ FCS are relatively inexpensive.

I did consider having a stand this year, but to be honest its a bit too soon for me having only just launched i4detailing last November. ;)

Although I might bring a few bits with me if there is interest.

Just clean your car well Matt before hand and bring a few fliers or something made up, or better yet some stickers as people love free s**t that they can stick on stuff!

A good chance for some (almost) free PR!
