Noob Exhust removal Help!

Hello i am having abit of a problem fitting the new 182 exhuast i have removed all the mounts as you can see from the photos but the (dont know what its called) big long black strut?! that is going from wheel to wheel is in the way of me taking it off. i just need to lower is like in this pitcure

is it easy todo ?
