This weekend, if anyone fancies a meet, we will be there. Norbreck Castle Hotel, first smell of racing fuel of the year.

I will be down around 6.30 this evening myself too.

We will be there most of the day, Saturday, catching some trick rally action on the sea front, combined with bobbing into the Rally Village at Norbreck Castle to keep warm ha! Looks like a good un this year.

Where will there be to park? I don't know that far north of blackpool too well, unless anyone is around south shore and just drive up together or something

 

[Daz_]

Just follow the coastal road north, you will see the Norbreck come up on your right, you will see there will be loads of places to park around the local roads, then walk over to the Norbreck and Rally Village, sorted.

oh, for some reason I had in my head that the prom would be closed there, all fine then

You can track the car positions from inside the Rally Village, all on a big screen, some WRC cars will be there as usual, 6r4's, proper classics.

I had a wander down last night to watch the promenade stage, there was a 6r4 there along with a couple of lancias that sound nuts, loads of scoobys as expected and quite a few mk2 escorts of which a racing blue(ish) coloured one is the best sounding car there!

@Daz_ it's bloody freezing down on the seafront, I looked like thr michelin man I had that many layers on!

Ha! Every year is the same, we will be prepared later.

It's on all day, we are in the Rally Village.
