North West / West Yorkshire Renaultsport Specialists?

Hi,

Is there a directory or list somewhere of good Renaultsport specialists in both North West and West Yorkshire?

Being based in the north eastern outskirts of Greater Manchester does put me in the realm of no-man's land of Renaultsport specialists it appears!

There’s Birchdown in Cheshire, they are very good. Also there is RS Murray in Leeds, but he’s supposed to be expensive.

There is a Renault specialist in Halifax, but not sure if they are RS specialists.

They're specialists in Halifax yeah but my experience wasnt amazing and I only had the headlights aligned lol. I'd use diamond motors @DickP.

Another vote for Andy and Steve at Birchdown. You're best off giving them a ring as they're usually quite busy so you might have a couple of weeks wait.

Hi, please can you elaborate on you comment about RS Murray as I'm considering getting them to rebuild my Clio engine with several mods such as forged pistons Catcam etc

They just cut corners ClioTurbo style and make a hash job of s**t from what I've seen

Paul loves building high horsepower stuff though, its when you take them run of the mill jobs like fitting new genuine parts that they seem to make a cats arse of it. Quite a few of my mates have cars that have forged engines built by RS that have been sound

So it would seem if Paul takes personal charge of your engine you are OK just that I'll be parting with quite a few thousand pounds?

An advantage of Paul he is only about 30 miles from me.

An alternative was Engine Dynamics but they neither answer the phone or respond to emails which does not bode well
