Norton Antivirus 2008 / AOL

Anyone else had problems getting onto AOL after installing Norton 2008. I've had to uninstall just to get back on-line.

I think its trying to connect through something else (TCL?) rather than my DSL connection but I havent changed anything.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

The firewall will be blocking you. Do yourself a favour and uninstall Norton 2008, it is utter gash and makes your system run like a dog with thre kegs.

Install the free Avast! instead http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

Might need to check your internet settings in Norton itself.

lol, norton is the worst piece of software out there for hogging system resources, and you have AOL as your ISP.

Reformat, bin norton, get a new ISP.

Cos once installed norton and AOL never uninstall properly.

There are specific tools you can use to remove all traces of Norton.
