  Mr2 Roadster

Just bored Vix... But I like the idea of all go no show, as apposed to your all show, no go!

lol ;)

I was think 50 shots on a progressive, running a realistic max of 30 brake day to day, just for sh*ts and giggles!

Bearing in mind I should be quicker than a valver to 60mph anyway due to gearing and torque!

*Valver Owner Flame Suit On*

b**ch....lol!!

handbags hehe!!!

go for it but doubt you could do more than 50 thats what my brother had on his beemer and was pretty cool you can definately tell the difference its wicked!! hehe

I was going to ask if you had driven a RSi or even knew anything about them... But you are far to superiour to have bothered, knowing its lower down the range is good enough for you!

Ask about it fella, there is nothing but praise for the RSi. I neverly bought a Valver but I thought f**k it what do I want an old heap of sh*t like that for, so I picked up a nice 1998 model... One that has given me no problems may I add!

Bet Insurance company would rape you though :(
Its not road legal so they woulnt need to know!
NickyB - lets not start this one again, there is NO legislation in place making Nitrous use on the road illegal, your only issue would be getting insurance for it - the police/customs&excise/dept.of.transport have nothing saying its illegal to use on the road.

Roamer as a man who knows his stuff, would 30 odd brake be damaging to my engine?

100% certain I would not tell the insurance company, stealth style install! ;)

where could u get the bottle refilled?

and i doubt 30 shot would damage ur car but i would change the head gasket etc if u havent already

Depends on what kit you are thinking of going for mate......(zex, NOS, wizards etc etc)

If its a wet kit, then you should start on a 25/30 bhp shot and then get the system checked over, then progress to the 50bhp jets and then get the system checked again, if you want to go upto 80/100 youll HAVE to use a progressive controller, remember that bringing n20 in too low down in the rev range will NOT be good for your engine, and obviously any good kit will only allow it to fire when on WOT.

There is a place that fills em up 2 mins from my house!

I will need to hope BenR reads this tread, so he can tell me what bits I would need to do it!

My mate used to have a RSi actually so i know a bit about them, not had one myself but i have driven one. However im fairly sure that the 16v IS a better handling car than an RSi! I never actually dissed the RSi, unlike u with ur valver comments.

You do whatever makes u happy....

Mate, one thing youve got to remember is that when they quote say 35bhp you wont get near to that figure, more like 20-25bhp if youre lucky, and the increase is not really that much of a kick, with anyone Id advise to look at a http://www.noswizard.com/noswizards kit, its a wet kit so it chucks in a fuel/nitrous-oxide mix to try and keep the afr on spec (ish) and if you get one of their installers to install and check it all when jets are upgraded you can purchase their very cheap engine insurance which covers it if the install of nitrous actually causes damage.

Wow, thanks Roamer. Have been looking at the link. £1 per 1bhp increase insurance! Thats well cool!

Am i missing something here. NOS in a an RSI - what a waste of money. For starters you will probably blow the engine up, head first of course, the increse in power will be sh*te, u wont be able to get round corners and it gonna cost you lots of money each time just to keep up with the likes of - well, valvas. I may be overly cynical but it seems like a total waste of time to me - it will still be an rsi and it will still be slow. Relatively speaking of course. Mate save ure doh, sell ure rsi before you break it and invest in a GTIR or even a valva.

  Mr2 Roadster

I dont need a car in the first place... Just have one because I can afford one!

If it breaks then I will put a 480 turbo lump in there instead and N20 that aswell.

And the only place Valvers get me is on long straight roads or above 60mph...

Its just a game for me!

Sorry mate, thats different then - a 480 lump!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that would be something else! Where would you get it from - would it fit in an rsi? Thats takin fun to the limit!!!!

Bloody hell Toms123, do I tell you anything you do is a waste of money? do I tell you to go get a different car and save your money cos youll still be slow compared to me?

No I dont, and really if you aint got anything constructive to say then why not say nothing at all..... Im pretty sick of people just posting something down on a topic, sayin its crap/not worth it/ etc etc etc
