Can you use a stainless tie wrap instead of the stupid renault clips.
The renault one always seem to fall off.

The tie wraps i use are a ball lock design and will last forever beign stainless. Anyone see a problem in using these?

don't see why not - providing they clamp the boot effectively and don't have any tabs sticking out that might foul the hub carrier/etc, then should be fine i'd have thought

Don't bother just get a proper clip.

They'll fail over time anything else realy.
