NTL 10mb

hearing a rumour that there's something that can be done to give any NTL cable BB user a 10mb connection without paying any extra... anyone know anythng about this?

I don't mean the free upgrades they are doing for 3mb users at the moment.

It IS supposed to be happening m8. YOu have to chase them up yourself to provide the service though....

Mind you, 10MB is nothing.....

Im on 10mbit at home now.. its nice but would rather have a better upload speed than more download..

no, this is something else. One of the technicians has just shown a guy who was on 2mb how to do it but he won't tell anyone how.

The 10mb NTL service is 512k up, which is a step in the right direction. Should hopefully get my upgrade in a few days/weeks...not overly bothered to the point of chasing them.

On the original point, everyone can max out the network in theory. The speed is capped/throttled by the modem firmware.
