Got a new bulb holder and new bulb still not working!!

The simpilist of things are so annoying!

Tips and hints, WD40 and a clean?

Anything else isnt there a repair kit or something ??

There is a kit yes as it's often the loom that rots away.
Search on ebay as there's a bloke that sells the new holders with a section of loom to repair yours.

On mine when I tried to clean it, it blew a 10 amp fuse and also caused the high vis rear light warning lamp on the dash to light up whenever I braked!). I replaced the fuse and fitted a new lamp holder/bulb and it sorted itself out.
