Number plate light not working!

i've only just relised that my rear number plate light wasn't working so i looked at the bulb and it had fused so i changed it and still wouldnt work.

Does anyone know what the problem may be?

I had this. Done my nut in.

i changed the bulb still didnt work.. sooo i taped the wire together and it came on. lol

I had the whole assembly replaced for my MOT last year as all the metal in the holder had corroded badly, didn’t cost much.

yeah mines corroded thought it might have been that, tried to clean it will try it agen now see if its helped

They are shite. Get a new holder and clean the plug that goes into it.
