Numpty Alert!

:S Hi Folks. Was under my 172 changing my front springs the other day and wanted to change my oil at the same time.Doh! Call me stupid, but I could not find the oil filter. Can someone let me know where it is hidden and if it is easy to change!!

Its at the front below the fuel rail guard, you'll need to take this off to get to it

If you removed the fuel rail guard at the front of the engine it is located just under the fuel rail. You will need a deep 10mm socket to do it. Its not the easiest filter to remove because of its location but it is easy enough shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Numpty alert? Cool. I bled my power steering with no lid or filter in the reservoir and emptied the reservoir all over my freshly cleaned subframe. Bit numptyish
