Just though I would let you's know,First Alternative(who I've been insured with for the last 2 years) have firstly joined up officaily with Esure and have changed their wording in the policy(amongst others):

Update :AF06/09 Title: TRACK DAY,OFF ROAD ETC
We have added a further point to the 'General exceptions which apply to all sections'.It is headed '10 Track days and off road events'and should be read in conjunction with your certificate of motor insurance.It reads,loss or damage resulting from the use of your car at any event during which your car may be driven on a motor racing track,airfield,DE-RESTRICTED TOLL ROAD,or at any off road event.
