Nurburgring Pics & Edde's 10:25 Lap

Interestingly, the GPS map doesn't 100% agree with the terrain map... this is for 3 reasons:

1) The GPS map contains altitude data which isn't taken into account. I'll update the file if I can.

2) Edde was cornering too quickly, so the GPS couldn't keep up.

3) There were a fair amount of trees about.

I'll also update this thread with Car & Bike pics tomorrow.

google earth says that its not supported when i try to open it?

It just opens stright with google earth does for me anayway.

You did save the file as a .kml not as a .html or .htm file didn't you?

Not sure which lap that was, stupid GT3's, M3's and bikers holding me up slowing me down.

map looks a bit wierd.

I need to get sonme of the old Conti ones back though these 2's have always benn rubish.

google earth, i had the old one so had to update.

Basically just watch the trace of the lap, i assume thats what it was.

Yep thats with Sabine at the wheel (5 minute gain easy) in a stripped out van with no traffic kept out the way with another car. Plus transits are about as quick as my car to accelerate.

I got very impatient with the staff there, they were obviously busy and not keen on accomodating us. Plus we didn't want to make it claustophobic for you guys, so we decided to go somewhere else.

We should have arrived earlier really... anyway, we ended up at Giulia's again!
