NW for tracking

need my tracking done asap, iirc there was a place on here that did it for about 40 swuid but a search didnt bring it up, any one recomend any where in the NW, south manchester area for tracking

tbh, will be best to pick up the yellow pages and ring round. Wheelbase sell a lot of alloys and have a decent rep, but can comment on tracking.

i had mine done at a garage near me (bolton) called gilnow service centre for £15. don't know if it was that price coz i spent £470 on my cambelt with them or if its that price anyway

At Tweeks we use a proper laser alignment system, very accurate, not expensive for a proper job (not knocking anyone else, just know that our gear works well).

yeah was full laser when i went, even let me watch how they did it... also found out that the back wheel was slightly out, he said it might have it a kerb at some point... grrr must have been last owner

A lot of places offer laser alignment so you don't have to go to tweeks. Laser alignment is not always the best either. Where I work our laser alignment was not calibrated for 12 months and was shockingly out. A lot of companies don't get their's calibrated very often. I think we have reduced ours to every 6 months now so it's more accurate.

Don't Northhampton Motorsport do full tracking and corner weighing up by you?

the guy who owns chorley street garage used to work for gilnow he's a good lad and knows what he's doing. he always used to work on my old cars

he is indeed, he's fitted the suspension and exhaust to both my cars and I've not had any problems. Even said he could do an engine transplant for me if I find the donor bits

Got mine done at ATS in Rusholme this morning, £29.99.

They don't guarentee that it will eliminate 'pulling', damm site better now though.

Not saying they did in your case Deeg but ATS often "cheat" the laser alignment tracking and don't actually adjust anything. I've seen this in a few branches and some of the people that work there don't really know much about tracking.
