O/S Headlight not working

Recently bought a 197 R27 F1 Clio. Absolutley loving the car. Anyway, got in the car this morning to come to work and noticed the O/S headlamp bulb had blown (Non xenon). Got a new bulb and fitted to find that it still doesnt work . Has anyone come across this problem before???

Problem solved. Bought another new bulb, fitted it, jobs a good one! So faulty new bulb thats all.
