O/s rear abs sensor .. Dealer only or will Bosch be ok ???

Clio 182 needing a rear abs sensor can I buy a Bosch or other banded make or does it have to be from a dealer ?
I resd elsewhere on the forum by a post by Fred saying thst it's dealer only yet see them on europarts by Bosch for £39 a 3rd of the price for the same part from a dealer

I tried to get one from euro car parts (or similar) to be told dealer only, despite seeing them advertised on ebay, I bought one but it didn't fit, still only £150 each from Renault. Phase 1 by the way,

Yes i know but if you look at the ones on ebay if that's where you got it , doesn't even look the same type , but the one on euro car parts looks exactly the same as genuine one , but then it's only pictures

Yes my friend works for Renault so getting parts at a decent price isn't too bad I was just trying to find out if any other brand was suitable as it was very expensive , not many on the shelf ..Thursday before any Arnold branch can get one , luckily it's a 10-15 minute job to fit . And yes it's conclusive "dealer only" for this part and used ones are not really available due to them breaking on removal .

Get one off a breaker,

Over £100 from renault, or £15 from a breaker off ebay.

Yeah I'm thinking of trying thst as it won't cost much to try and see if it works just most on ebay are attached to hubs and I assume that's cause they do actually break when removing , maybe Fred will shed some light on that ..
