O2 unlocking iPhone - how?

I've read you can fill a form in online to request O2 to unlock your iPhone. Is this true cos I find it?? Am I just better off ringing them?

I did this with Vodafone, it's requesting a NUC (network unlock code).
If its on contract it's usually free, although it must be 6mths into the contract or more, you need to know the details of the person who originally took the contract out.
PAYG usually costs about £15.
I think O2 did it online, I know that Vodafone did.
