New to this so please bear with me.
I have a 53reg 1.4 16v Renault Clio and i am having problems getting a reading from the OBDII reader as my engine light is on. I plugged the reader into the port and have turned the key 2 clicks but i don't get a reading back. The reader lights up ready for use once plugged in but once i press scan it comes up with a "linking error" message and I also used another reader and it frozen on the "Read" part (see image attached). I have checked the fuse box and made sure the fuses are working and the reader is fully connected but still have issues with getting it to read the car...any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
