I hope what your chatting about with gems and making your own swords gets explained later in the game cos I haven't got a clue what your going on about...I've got some of those funny Soul stones things but they don't do anything?!? how the hell to you "catch" souls?

lol, it's sorta explained... once you get in the mages guild and get into the Arcane Uni you can enchant weapons and make spells. So take a normal weapon and use a gem to add an enchantment to it, the better the gem the more powerful the effect. So like frost or fire damage on a sword, water walking on your armour etc etc... unfortunately you can only put one enchantment on an item though. When you close an Oblivion gate you get Sigil stones to enchant weapons and armour too, these are miles better. I managed to collect 16 of them.

Oh, to catch souls the Umbra sword has Soul Trap, you can get scrolls or spells to do it for you as well.

right o...cheers...I decided to give up on the dark brotherhood for the time being, just done the one where you have to kill the guy thats in jail but with no spells to make me invisable it took a fair ammount of sneaking about to do it without killing a gaurd! (I did it though!)

I'm gonna start work on the mages guild instead...

found 20 of those nirnroots now but can't find the guy to take them too? I'm sure he was in Skingrad but I can't find him!

I also went to Kvatch for the first time...that was a bad idea! biiig Oblivion gate! I got scared and decided to leave that for a while haha!

haha its pretty mint but i havnt played in a while got a little complicated and i lost my unicorn the slut.

i need to find that damn sword, and close some damn gates haha.

to find the guy goto your map and then scroll left and right to you missions/quests and just activate it as the main active quest and he will apear on your map again.
