Odd noise when flooring it??

  350z GT
When flooring my Cup, as soon as it gets over about 4k revs (when it starts to kick) there is kind of like a whirring flappin kind of noise??

hard to describe tbh, as its only under hard acceleration im thinking its either the engine mounts or the exhaust mounts?

Anyone had the same thing??

Cheers

Had this on my old Ph1 it was the cv boot clip had come undone and sprayed grease everywhere!

Check to see if there's grease on the inside of the wheels.

Nah both the CV joints are fine as only checked them the other day when fitted sportlines....this sounds more like its coming from behind me i think....

hard to tell :S

  Now Sold :-(
Check the exhaust heat shields. One of mine had rusted around the mounting point and vibrated at higher revs. Big washer sorted it. ;)

I get this too, it's going in on Friday so I'll let you know what my mechanic says. I think it's an exhaust blowing issue as I once had a similar noise on my lupo gti and it was where the old and new (aftermarket) exhausts joined.
