OEM 182 seat refurb?

Is it something that anyone has tried before? After 12 years of my arse getting in and out of the car, the side bolster is definitely past its best.

Just curious if its been done before and if the results were worth it?

Cheers,
D.

Very easy to do as well Darren. Leave the runners in place and just remove the 13mm nuts from the runner spike bolts. 5 in total 2 down outers and 3 down middle. Unclip the wiring underneath and seat adjusting cables and lift out and swap.

Cheers Mr. Mossy! I might give you a buzz if I'm struggling - hopefully I'm good enough of a spanner monkey not to though! :)

Should be able to remove the seat, pull back the cover and replace the bolster foam.
Foam is stupid cheap so a DIY repair will only cost a quid or so, thats assuming the fabric hasn't torn??

Fairly common stuff on older cars where the majority have fucked bolsters.

They did use to, as I bought a brand new still it's in Renault wrapper on eBay last year but was from a seller who bought it a few years ago.

Relatively straight forward mate. The biggest pain is separating the black/red wiring connector under the seats.
