Oh joy

Doorbell woke me up this morning, I was that way though where I wasnt sure if I heard it or not. So I slept on. As it is my day off, I can sleep in till whenever...so I got up about 10.30...feeling refreshed.

Walking up to the main window, curtains opened, there she is. My baby Dynamique, all with a f*ck off dent in the passenger side and wing mirror forced back. Scratches R Us.

Makes me wish I had answered the door earlier huh? No note, nothing left. Pissed off right now to be honest. :( Been driving superbly for 7 months now, looking for my no claims discount at the end of the year, all up in the air now.

Not really sure who would have done this, my area is popular with neds (scallies) whatever. As Im 18, Im sure insurance will skyrocket.

I have a few mates that are mechanics just over the road, always working on their car, Soarer (v.nice). They know a few people that run bodyshops in the outskirts.

Just deciding what to do now...joy eh?

Bummer mate!! i know what you mean about the no claims, im in the same boat!!its annoying when its OTHERS that f*** it for you!

Nah, its still early bells, so Im hoping whoever came to the door will come back later. Ill ask about a bit, just pissed off. I had applied to my neighbourhood committee about renting a garage out but they just said join the queue.

Maybe I should ram the car into theirs at night and see how they like it.

Gutted mate, was your car on the road or on your drive?

I doubt they will come back im affraid, they probably only tried the bell just incase anyone was looking at the time, now they know (or they think they know) that no-one was in they wont bother.

Yeh, it was sitting on the road at the time, but out of the way so Im wondering how someone could have hit it, maybe they were braindead for a sec, ah dear.

Was goin for an Atomo bodykit soon too, just hope this doesnt set me back too much.

funnily enough, my doorbell went a week or so ago, ignored it, got to the car to see a nice neat dent in the door panel just below the keyhole. its taken out some paint and all. i think i know who did it but i cant be sure so...

not as bad as the person i used to live next to - took the bit of plastic off the side of the door, and scraped the whole rear wheel arch in seperate incidents without even owning up to it.

grrr.

It might be worrth getting a quote WITHOUT telling the insurance and getting it repaired without getting the insurance involved!

That way you keep saving on your insurance - but you are a little bit out of pocket for the immediate future!

I know which one id go for!

Cheers for the advice.

The cars at a shop just now, a friend of the family. Hes had a good look at it and will try to hit it out a little, but says that on the whole, a new door (either new or second hand) will be needed.

Good timing as Im off to Ibiza soon, been saving up n all. Thats life tho innit. Mind you, this could give me a reason to get the whole thing sprayed which iv been wanting to do for a while now.

wounded mate! im waitin for mine to get broken into on my drive! it reversed right up to the garage with sercurity light beamin straight on it! but u never can stop them can ya!
