oil advice please

hi everybody,
some advice please, oil level is about half way down on my 182, done about 3200 miles. Should I put in some oil yet or wait till it goes down a bit more? Book sais you should wait until its at minimum!
Im reading the level off the electronic gauge, 3 squares down, 3 left.
What do yi all think? Cause Im heading off on big long drive on Saturday, about 400miles

i did 3000 miles when mine read as critical!!! serv light came on the works!!

just did a oil change as there is all kinds of rubbish floating around after running it in. just do an oil change with some 5w40 or top it up if you dont love her

I had an oil and filter change yesterday and the tw*ts at the garage didnt tighten the filter properly so it leaked! tw*ts.

So, just topped it up anyway.

I would do a complete oil change if I was you, its healthier and it is a performance car.

it used to be 10w 40, but they changed it to fully synthetic 5w 40, so to be safe, do a full oil change, then if it gets low again, you know what to top it up with.. oil & filter are about £35

all of the Renault sport cars should be filled with 5W-40, Renault recently sent this info to all dealers, your book may not say this, but it is the most recent info

Get some Elf Excellium 5W40. Top it up if you drive like Miss Daisy, or change the oil & filter at 6k if you do trackdays or drive like you stole it.
