oil and oil filter

some one has recommended i put this in my car at next oil change which will be in a few weeks when i have my MOT.

my question is why is this better than say my normal renault filter and 10w 40 castrol gtx magnatec?

is it worth it?

Yes it is much better. Magnetec is a pretty poor oil tbh and runs hot.

as for the oil filter.. is the one in the service kit link here (purolater filter) better than a genuine renault filter?

5 litres of Silkolene PRO S 5W40 and the filter on the opie oils site will be fine matey...
