Oil at top of struts

Opened the bonnet to change the light bulbs and in the top of the shock where the bolt is i noticed a bit of oil What could this be ? Never comes across it before

you lowered it?mine still has wd40 sitting in it where i sprayed it to loosen the top strut nut

No standard Does look like some oil has been spilt on the last service just have to hope thats all it is

doubt itd be anything else,there is no oil around that area.maybe when you had it serviced/mot'd maybe they just sprayed them a bit to keep them from seizing...
