Oil choice

Anyone recommend what type of oil i should use in my mk2ph2 1.6 16v?

Just go with your budget, 40 is the recommnded grade, fully sythetic is best obvioulsy.

So 0-40 is the best, then 5w-40, then 10w-40, then 15w 40.

I run 0w-30 mobil one in mine and it was noticbly better than 0w-40... its discontinued though.

Head over to opie oils, get the phone number and speak to guy. He'll take mileage, age, driving style etc then rec. the best oil for you. Stick the result up here for future ref.
