Oil filter question.

i bought a servicing kit off eBay, NGK spark plugs/mehr fuel/oil/air filter.
But the oil filter was just the paper element?
I thought the oil filter was a little box, similar to the fuel filter?
Is there any difference?
And is there a guide for changing?

You've got the wrong filter. The paper elements are used on the 1.2 phase 2's and maybe a few others. 1*2's use a screw on metal filter.

I've Got a phase 2 1.2 mate. But it's got a screw in metal filter.?

Hmm that's odd. I changed my gf's the other day on her phase 2 1.2 and it was a screw off plastic filter and then you pull the paper element out and put it into the filter housing and screw back on.
