Oil Leak and brown stuff

I just changed the oil and filter on my 1.2 1999 Clio RT. I noticed i have an oil leak but not very car savvy so dont know exactly where its coming from. Also there was brown sludge sprayed over the sump and other stuff, what could it be, sorry for the poor pic quality.

thankyou for your reply. is that the oil leak or the brown stuff or both. expensive? like I say don't know much about cars.

i would say get it to your local garage for investigation - especially if your not very car savvy as you say
