Oil leak Mk1 1.9D (Diesel)

I have a oil leak on my car, I was told to get the engine steam washed so the leak could be found...is this a good idea?

Where in SE London could i get this done?

No idea where you could get it done, go for a drive so the engine is warm, then park up and put some big sheets of cardboard under the car, then in the morning see if they are stained with oil so you can tell where its coming from.

I can see it dripping under the engine but i can not pin point where its coming from.

You need to realy clean the engine down I woulnd't jet wash it just use rags and find out where its leaking from.
