Oil leak

Hi I have a slow oil leak, that after topping up the oil would drip underneath when parked and leave a couple of small puddles. Jet washed all the oil away but can't see where it's coming from, since then the dripping has briefly stopped, this I'm guessing is because it's further up and filling up over time then dripping down.

I don't have a pic but if you look at this thread the first picture shows the breather? Mine is only up to where this one is braided... The oil is gathering around the bottom of this tube.

Top left there's a black plastic housing, thermostat housing? There's oil all under that too, would that be from flicking up?

This is your gearbox breater pipe!!!! if your topping the oil and and it keeps going down you could well have a Stat ater housing leak, when its COLD run your hand over the enf of the head under the stat see if its wet with Oil.

Hi thanks I will check this, I got a little confused when I said topped the oil I topped the engine oil not the gearbox, I have been out looking tonight and I think it's coming out of the breather on the top of the gearbox.
