oil leak



i have got a 1.8 16v clio(n reg) and it has developed an oil leak where the spark plugs are, does anyone know what this could be and how to sort it ????

It will cause a leak if the power coating hasnt been scrapped from the bootom of the rocker cover

As this guy says. Unless you have scraped the poweder coating off the bottom of the rocker cover then it probably won't for a proper seal and you will get oil leaking out. I had oil leaking into the spark plug area on mine (A mk1 1.4RT) and there was a load of old oil aroung the rocker cover and since replacing the gasket I've not had any leaking at all.
