Oil Message

I used to get the "Oil Ok" message when starting the car but this morning I've noticed I'm getting a message Oil with 6 dashes on the top line like my "illustration" below. Anyone know what it is or why has it changed? I check oil regularly weekly-biweekly and that's all fine, it was serviced 3 months (5k ago).

Yep, previously when it said oil ok if you pressed your trip it would show your oil level by squares above those dashes , no squares = no oil. I always physically check rather than take the display as gospel

think the trip computer accounts for 1ltr? Mine was like a yoyo, always check the dipstick

I always used the dipstick as wasn't aware of the display saying anything other than ok. When I went back to the car this evening it was saying everything was ok but I topped up a little bit approx 200ml. I've now used almost 1ltr in the last 3 months, not a good sign
