OIL OK no reading?

On my mk2 ph3 1.4 16v it doesn't say oil ok when you start engine anymore, oil is full of course, im assuming the wire has come off the sensor or something, where is the sensor located on this engine, and is this likely to be the cause?

Check the dip stick? Don't rely on a computer to tell you something you should be checking yourself!

yeh i know. but its a function that doesn't show up like it used to when i start the car and just wondered what the cause was?
