Oil Pressure Sensors: 8200671279 (182) vs 8200671286 (172)

Hi all!

I have been getting the dreaded oil + stop light intermittently with my 182 even though it has been pressure tested at Two Techs with flying colours. I have realised that I have the green body oil pressure sensor installed on my car (8200671286) which seems to have a different plug + pressure of 0,20 BAR vs the 182 grey body sensor (8200671279) which has a BAR rating of 0,50. Anyone else come across this or been running the green body sensor on their 182 without issues?

I've literally just fixed my 182 with this issue. Replaced it with this - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184783904206 and it's gold

Looks like there is some physical difference. The green one I bought from eurocar parts 2 years ago, they seem to be listing the wrong part when you enter the cars rego. The Clio 182 sensor (white/grey) has a smaller diameter oil feed hole compared to the Clio 172 sensor (green). Will be going for a 70mile round trip tomorrow so lets see if the new sensor makes a difference.

Yeah it is.

Just updating this thread for everyone's benefit. The new sensor seems to have done the job, will check the wiring as the next step.

In summary:

172s use a 0,20 BAR green body pressure sensor: 8200671286
182s use a 0,50 BAR grey/white body pressure sensor: 8200671279

Eurocarparts listing is inaccurate.
