just a quick one , in the middle of fitting a turbo on my 172 and got the sump of at the moment and noticed that the oil pump chain is very slack , is this how its ment to be ?? or could the tensioner be gone
there isn't a tensioner on that chain. other engines sometimes use a shim between the pump and the block to adjust it, but i dont know of these for the F4R. Sounds like it's normal really
