oil stop light

rite my mate oil sport light has come on but oil is good still runs like a dream. is ok on start but when u start to drive it comes on! Some 1 said it could be because of break fluide. so top it up today. but still come on!

Take it you checked the dipstick level?

mine had this. its the sensor as lemon says. dead easy/cheap to get sorted at a backstreet garage, take them about 5 mins

had this on my company van, turned out the oil pickup pipe had split and the engine wasn't getting enough oil.
Get it checked.
As they say Better safe than sorry.

cant be that as car has done over 1000 miles an not thing wrong with it. with the light on!

what has the oil light got to do with brake fluid levels?

i would probably put my money on what lemon says.

No the oil pressure sensor. its down by the oil filter so easy to change.
