the same happens on mine, only started happening when i started using mobil1

i take it ur doing a bit of speed hehe

my valver and the willy engine never really got above 110 deg but ive noticed cols williams gets that hot after a good run, oil does affect it a lot tho

cant comment on current valver as oil temp gauge is yet 2 be fixed

I use Mobil 1 but that seems a touch too high still. I know it gives higher oil pressure with Mobil 1.

That was after a good thrashing for about 40mins. My oil pressure is always quite high, just had mi engine rebuilt though.

Oil change today, 5-40? any recommendations?

Mine sits at a 100 racing round town but on a motor way run anything about about 90mph add it goes up to that, i propa goes up when you sit a 135 - 140 for a few mins.

Actually thinking about it that was after racing one of them pulsar gti lotus jobbies at !20 for about 10 mins!

mine never gets that high in temp or in pressure! must be the oil u r using

Mine used to go upto 110 quite easily on the old oil, but now Im using Castrol GTX Magnetec 10W40 it only hits 110 and after a good thrashing.

that looks a tad hot to me mate. Dont think mine ever gets that hot.

Mine never gets that hot either. The Oil I am using is 10w 40w semi synthetic Duckhams Q. Just flushed my cooling system and oil change.
