Oil Temp

The oil temp reading is suppposed to be around 80 is it not when driving at normal speeds....mine was going up to around 84 - 90, but i am thinking this could have something to do with the hot weather?

yea mines a bit higer than normal but its just down to the hot weather

dont usully take it over 3.5 - 4k unless its 80C,when the engine at normal running temp its 100c

I dont put my foot down far until the oil is over 70

80C oil temp is low........cool even........

Itll run between 80 and 110 when at prolonged high rpm.

I put my foot down when its 40-50 deg lol.............

I never put my foot down unless there is a good reason to, i.e. a worthwhile race!

have you noticed these "worthwhile races" always seem to occur when the car is warming up so cant do anything, it is frustrating!

anyway, leave it till atleast 70 - 80 deg
