Oil tempertature sensor

does anyone know where this is on a valver??? cant find it in my haynes manual?? need help

I might be defo wrong but do they have one, cos usually they read the water temp not oil temp. But if you have the gauge think you should have one.

they defo have one because theres a gauge on the dash mate

Think its at the front of the block and difficult to get to iirc?

its at the front of the engine right next to or below the oil filter. hope it helps, havent had one of those 4 a long time
