Oil top up using different brand??

I'm currently low on oil and require a quick top up for a drive this weekend. Usually I use Elf however I don't think I'll get any delivered before the bank holiday, am I ok to use another brand? I'm due an oil change soon so it's fairly short term.

as long as its the same grade, some oil is better than no oil.

I did think that but good to get another opinion! I'll grab something tomorrow morning to tie me over.
