Ok quick very newbie question...

Picking up my first Renault and 172 tomorrow, and just been doing some reading on here. I just wondered one thing (its probably really dumb and obvious) but i've seen the letters 'FF' being used when talking about the 172... what does FF mean?

Ok well here's my 172...

you can see the outside from that - not sure if thats the FF body kit and lowering you mention...

but inside it has the normal leather/suede interior, AC/climate, cruise control, and i assume it has the auto wipers and xenon lights. It doesn't have the 6CD changer or the ipod stereo though. Now would you consider this as a Full Fat model, or is it more of a semi-skimmed pedigree?

Err FF referes to a normal 172 its infact higher than a Cup on figures (assuming tolerances are ignored) its not lower though.

As said the FF are normal ride height the 172 Cup which has a lower spec no ABS and those wheels you've got plus slightly different suspension no zeons etc.

You've got a full fat just with Cup "turini" style alloys

Ipod was never an option unless you have the sony head unit fitted or its an aftermarket head unit.

just check the paintwork on the boot and bumper and the boot floor t check its not been in a bump... i can't suggest any reason why they would fit it on the wrong side unless its been repaired/repainted. unless it was stolen and the previous owner thought it looked better on the other side?
