Old (but recent) pads on brand new discs

Hi - got myself new DS2500 pads and HC discs a few weeks back - but immediately glazed the discs at Brands a few hundred miles later (was at the Indy circuit, and just too many race cars on slicks plus a couple of terrifying 850+ bhp GTRs about making keeping up challenging enough, let alone attempting a warm down lap at a short circuit). i can see the surface damage on the disc - and the squeak is even worse than the OEM pads and discs i replaced only 4 weeks ago!

I am replacing the brake fluid (got a lot of fade too) with some AP600 on Sunday, and ordered some replacement discs. Most fitters say you need to do pads and discs at the same time - but there are only 600 so miles on the pads as were only done 4 weeks ago today, so reluctant to shell out for pads also so stop the squeak.

Does anybody have a view on the risks of using my still pretty new pads with brand new discs? If it takes longer to bed in I'll accept that - if it means the same damage to the new discs and the same squeak then I'll just need the pads as well....

Did the pads get correct bedding in procedure?
Brake fade - was it pad fade or pedal fade?

You can mix and match old disc / new pads / new disc / old pads without an issue, providing you remove the transfer layer if you're using old discs with a different model of pad.
