Go easy on the guy, its only a car, cars can be replaced, thats what insurance is for.

Glad your ok, glad the old guy is ok. He will be punished by his wife for months about it. That should be enough. If you are hurt, then claim. If not dont, get to know them.

You never know, they might have nice young fit daughter to fire into..
