Old Style Plates

Hi, im going for a kind of black and white look for my car, and came across the white on black, old-style plates. Does anyone know if they are road legal? Has anyone got them and had any trouble?

only legal on pre 1976 cars (or 74, i forget which), definately not on a clio, lol.

a few have done it, but tbh i really dont see the point, ur just asking for a raping from the 5-0.

Only legal on cars built before 1973 iirc.

well whenever it was, it was in the 70's sometime, lol.

i think they look pretty gash on most cars tbh.
