Bit long winded but have been offered one of these units for a BARGIN price, more interested in the Launch control and full throttle gear change than the traction, comes with both options below. Can i really turn it down??

Omex Traction Control systems are designed to control wheelspin by monitoring the speed of all four wheels and controlling engine power.
With an Omex Traction Control system precisely maintaining the correct amount of wheelspin for the prevailing conditions, drivers of all varieties of race and road cars can gain maximum acceleration and greater control.
In recent years traction control has made a comeback in the world of F1. A sure indication of the benefits of traction control in racing and high performance applications.
Working in a similar way to systems used in F1, the Omex Traction Control systems use ABS sensors (which can be retro-fitted - OMTC050) to monitor the speed of all four wheels every 1000th of a second. The systems are extremely sensitive comparing right hand driven and undriven wheels separately to the left hand driven and undriven wheels. This also allows the systems to utilise different strategies for straight lines and cornering.
The Omex Traction Control systems utilise two methods for controlling engine power. Both have been tried and tested over many years in many applications and are known to be safe and reliable. For fuel injected engines, the system controls power by means of a fuel cut and for carburettored engines, power is controlled by means of a spark cut.
OPTIONS FOR UPGRADING AN OMEX TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM
OMTC150 is an IN-CAR ADJUSTER UNIT. This unit allows the quick and easy adjusting of the system to different settings according to the track conditions. Using a rotary control the unit offers five settings plus an option to switch the Traction Control off. The settings are Wet / Damp / Dry / +15% / +20% (or gravel).
OMTC100 is a combined LAUNCH CONTROL and FULL THROTTLE GEARSHIFT option. This option does need to be specified when ordering a Traction Control system as it is currently not offered as a retro-fit upgrade. Included in this option are the necessary switches to operate both the Launch Control and Full Throttle Gearshift.
Designed to optimise standing starts the Launch Control enables the user to set a preferred launch RPM. The user then floors the throttle and feeds in the clutch. The Launch Control function then balances wheelspin and revs as the vehicle pulls away. Once the driven and undriven wheels are turning at the same speed the Launch Control function automatically switches out and the unit reverts to Traction Control.
The Full Throttle Gearshift option allows the driver to keep the throttle fully open when changing gear without over-revving the engine. Using a switch on the clutch pedal or gear lever this option can be used to maintain a temporary rev limit to protect the engine whilst the driver changes gear.
