Personally i properly hate flat bottom wheels, but the OMP wheels in general are very good. I have one.

I've never understood flat bottomed wheels myself, I mean, give that one an 1/8 of a turn, and the lower part is as low as if it were round.

What is the point of them?

well this is what im thinking I mean personally I like to look of them, but are they a pain in the ass to turn?

I wouldn't imagine so...I just question why you'd want one.

I think the original race car application of a flat bottomed wheel, was to aid the driver of a quick entry and exit for his legs over the roll cage door bars and under the steering wheel.
I prefer a 'proper' snap off steering wheel over a flat bottomed wheel (ads a bit of security if staying over night and away from the car at a race circuit too).
